Loch Dee
Details
Loch Dee is situated about ten miles west of New Galloway on the A712 towards Newton Stewart. After five miles is Clatteringshaws Loch on the right, take the minor road that runs down the side of the loch.

Loch Dee is run by The Newton Stewart Angling Association.

The fishing available is for Brown Trout and Pike. It is fly fishing only for trout and fly fishing and dead bait fishing for Pike.

The Pike fishing is available all year but is only available by prior arrangement with the association and only when a daily permit has been purchased, (dead bait only). Loch Dee is famous for its very large wild brown trout and huge pike both of which are caught regularly.
