The Merrick, Southern Scotland's highest mountain at nearly 2,800ft can be climbed from Bruce's Stone. This particular point in Galloway is often affectionately known as the "Highlands of the Lowlands" and is also, one of the three welcoming visitor centres situated within the Galloway Forest Park.

Come and sample Galloway and sit by the stunning water of Minnoch and falls, beside the tea room which offers information, refreshments and even a gift shop.
