Garwachie Loch is situated 4 miles from Newton Stewart on the B7027 to Barhill (past Spectacle Lochs).
This is another loch managed by the Newton Stewart Angling Association and although most of the associations lochs cater mostly for the game fisherman, Garwachie Loch is an exception.
This loch offers coarse fishing in surroundings as idyllic as you will find anywhere. The loch is not fished very often and has therefore built up good stocks and decent sized fish.
The loch is open all year round and any legal method of fishing is permitted with the exception of live bait.
