Forest Harvesting
Please take great care to avoid designated harvesting areas as timber production is still a major part of the work of the Forestry Commision Scotland.
Any areas of current forest operations including timber harvesting and extraction will be clearly marked by a range of signs which should be heeded at all times. Access to areas of the forest will only be denied at times strictly required to ensure that works can be carried out in safety. It is therefore imperative that any instructions are followed to the letter to ensure a safe and happy visit.
