Archaeology
Near the Clatteringshaws Visitor Centre, Iron Age Roundhouses were stumbled upon, by accident, during draining works on Clatteringshaws Loch, 30 years ago.
It is thought that the roundhouses date back to between the first and second century and one has since been reconstructed. Visitors are welcome to visit and view the roundhouse for themselves.
